Clobak Consultancy Ltd started in 2006, formed by Clementine Adewunmi MSc., who was responding to the absence of positive African images in the diaspora; more specifically in the UK. Being a social entrepreneur, radio and television broadcaster and IT specialist, she incorporated the skills and knowledge from all these elements into what became Clobak Consultancy Ltd.
Today’s digitised society has a phenomenal social presence, with interactions taking place in virtual realities, and people young and old, need to interact and socialise in a positive and expressive manner in order to feel part of this society. Young people of African heritage need to understand that there is value in their heritage and they need opportunities to understand and even express pride in that heritage. Organising international tours is the bridge and vehicle for that expression.
As members of Council for Learning Outside the Classroom(CLOtC), we facilitate young people in actualising their dreams and vision, and gaining a fresh perspectives of the world around them.
