Clementine Adewunmi was born in the UK. In her teens she relocated to Nigeria where she studied Theatre Arts (majoring in Broadcasting and Film / TV / Radio production), at the University of Calabar. Clementine started her broadcasting career in Nigeria at a very young age. Whilst studying for her ‘A’ levels in Uyo, she was a regular presenter at the local television station fronting popular children and educational programmes.
As a freelance presenter and broadcaster she has featured on numerous radio and TV programmes. She also played the lead role in a film considered to be the launch pad of the Nollywood industry – ‘Evil Encounter’ (by the renowned Jimi Odumosu).
During her youth service, Clementine joined the famous musician the late Geraldo Pino and performed regularly as a singer with his band, whilst still continuing to freelance within radio and television. Clementine also signed contracts with a number of multinational companies where she performed as a resident singer at their numerous and various corporate and high profile events around Nigeria.
In the UK, Clementine was the prime time News Anchor for Passion Television (UK) which was broadcast in UK, Europe, and Africa. She has appeared in UK programmes – ‘Moving House’ and ‘The Food Hospital’, and presently broadcasts 2 very popular programmes on TCBR – ‘AfricanSounds’ and ‘Soul’d Out!’ (http://www.thurrockradio.org.uk/). Clementine is also an accomplished MC and motivational speaker.
Clementine’s portfolio career has seen her hold tenure as a lecturer at the London South Bank University UK, delivering post graduate lectures in Software Project Management (MSc), Research Methods (PhD), and Knowledge Management (MSc). Her information technology training and skills have positioned her as a subject matter expert where Information Management/Governance, Transparency, Social and New Media are being discussed. Clementine is also a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner as well as a certified SAP Human Capital Management consultant.
